About The Role:

Reporting directly to the Production Manager on all matters. The Paint Mixer Specialist is responsible for color matching, paint mixing, testing, quality control and maintaining accurate production records. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Perform colour matching and testing in accordance with established SOPs;
- Mix paints in accordance with predetermined formulas and specifications;
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with SOPs, including test results, batch records, and quality testing;
- Perform detailed quality control inspections to ensure products meet required quality standards;




- Safely clean and dismantle printing heads and related equipment in accordance with preventive maintenance protocols;
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and ready for production;
- Complete daily production reports accurately and on time;
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from obstructions;
- Work closely with production staff and supervisors to support daily production requirements;
- Maintain a team-focused approach and assist other production staff as required; and
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Years of Experience

- Experience in paint mixing, color matching, manufacturing, or related Production Environment is preferred; and
- Artistic skills or an eye for color would be an asset.

Working Conditions

- Hours of Operations: Monday - Thursday from 6:00AM to 3:30PM and Friday from 6:00AM to 2:30PM;
- Factory Plant Environment;
- Work setting involves some exposure to hazards of physical risks that require knowledge of an adherence to basic safety procedures;
- Work environment requires wearing PPE, including safety footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other PPE as required;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.;
- Ability to stand, walk and perform multiple tasks throughout the shift;
- Promote health and safety in the plant; and
- Flexible to work approved overtime as required.
