Part-Time Custodian

Position: Custodian (Residential Properties/Office)

Status: Part-time

Wage: $22.30/Hr

Schedule: Wednesday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (Up to a maximum of 24 hours per week)

Location: Various AHS properties - Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada (Local travel required between locations)

Role Summary

The Part Time Cleaner reports to the Property Manager and is responsible for providing general cleaning support across all facilities. This role requires effective communication, time management, organizational abilities. The Part time cleaner must work independently and as part of a team. The position is physically demanding, requires frequent carrying, and hands-on work in various cleaning duties.





Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform general cleaning for all offices, and cultural centre, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
- Assisting with cleaning housing units after move-outs, as needed.
- High-touch disinfection, vacuuming/mopping, and waste removal, utilizing checklists to maintain consistency.
- Restrooms/Kitchens: disinfection of toilets, faucets, and surfaces.
- Floors/Carpets: sweeping/vacuuming; regular deep cleaning/carpet extraction.
- General Dusting: Removing dust from vertical and horizontal surfaces.

Licensing- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required, and access to a reliable, insured vehicle for travel between property sites. Access to shared company vehicle may be available; to be eligible, candidate must provide a clean driver’s abstract
