Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a tidy workspace by cleaning surfaces, floors, and storage areas regularly.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance at all times.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to promote an environmentally friendly kitchen environment.




- Assist with restocking supplies and ensuring all necessary items are available for smooth kitchen operations.
- Support hospitality staff during busy service times by maintaining cleanliness and order behind the scenes.

Experience

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience with food handling, food preparation, or cooking can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Previous hotel or food service experience will be considered a plus.
- No formal qualifications are required; training will be provided to ensure you excel in your role.
