Global Pet Foods Stellarton is a proudly Canadian, locally owned and operated pet specialty store serving Pictou County since 2012. We are passionate about helping pet parents make informed choices through education, quality nutrition, and outstanding customer service because pets are undeniably part of the family.

We are looking for a dependable, positive, and customer focused team member for a year round part time position of approximately 15 to 25 hours per week.

This is an active, hands on retail role combining customer service, sales, merchandising, inventory, and ongoing learning. Whether you're returning to the workforce, looking for a change from your current role, or seeking a great long term part time position, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is best suited to someone who:

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage customers, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend products and solutions appropriate for their pets' needs
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service




- Receive, stock, rotate, and merchandise products
- Maintain clean, organized shelves, displays, and storage areas
- Assist with inventory accuracy, pricing, and store presentation
- Participate in ongoing product and nutrition training
- Assist with the training and on-boarding of new team members as you develop experience and product knowledge
- Work collaboratively with teammates to support daily store operations
- Represent Global Pet Foods professionally within the community

Qualifications:

- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but pet retail experience is not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and being on your feet throughout your shift
- Flexible availability for a combination of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
- Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts
- Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer programs
- Organized, dependable, and detail oriented
