In this role, you will work within the Community Partnerships Support Section of Surrey Police Service. The position emphasizes crisis intervention and ongoing support for victims, witnesses, and their families. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating emergency responses, providing court support, and ensuring safety while working closely with police and community agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergencies at crime scenes and community locations
- Provide crisis support and referrals for victims
- Update clients on case progress and court outcomes
- Conduct court orientations and accompany victims to court
- Maintain client documentation and prepare reports
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma and related post-secondary degree
- Minimum of four years related experience
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License required
- Security Clearance and Reliability Status needed
- Strong interpersonal skills with a community focus
