Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the well-being of clients, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role involves supporting patients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a respectful and caring environment.

Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
- Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Help with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Assist with transfers and heavy lifting to ensure client safety
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, especially those with dementia or in hospice care
- Document care provided accurately and report any concerns to supervising staff
- Support clients in engaging in recreational activities or therapies tailored to their needs





Skills

- Experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices including medication administration and dementia care
- Ability to work effectively with seniors, people with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or senior care
- Strong caregiving skills with compassion, patience, and empathy
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to different care settings and client needs
