Job Summary

As a Registered Pharmacy Technician you will play a vital role at the center of our prescription department. You will be working alongside an experienced team of pharmacy professionals and support staff to ensure the highest standards are met with each prescription and patient encounter.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist

- Verify prescriptions for completeness and correctness, ensuring compliance with Standards and pharmacy protocols

- Assist with medication inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and reconciliation

- Verify product and prescription accuracy in compliance packages

Qualifications

- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy

- Desire to improve the health of our patients and community through excellence in pharmacy care

- Knowledge of Kroll pharmacy management software is an asset

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
