DescriptionUNITY Fitness is looking for an experienced Pickleball Pro to help build and lead our growing pickleball program.

This role is primarily focused on delivering premium, paid group clinics for our members and guests. We are looking for a coach who brings technical expertise, competitive experience, energy, and personality to the court while creating an exceptional experience that keeps players coming back.

As our pickleball program continues to grow, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the programming, developing our community, and establishing UNITY as a premier destination for pickleball in Toronto.

Responsibilities

- Lead high-quality paid pickleball clinics for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players
- Design engaging clinic formats focused on meaningful skill development and game application
- Coach technical fundamentals, shot execution, strategy, positioning, and game play
- Create an energetic, welcoming, and professional environment for every player
- Adapt coaching style and programming to different skill levels and group dynamics
- Build robust relationships with members and encourage repeat participation
- Collaborate with the UNITY team to develop new clinics, leagues, tournaments, and specialty programming
- Bring your competitive and coaching expertise to help evolve our pickleball offering
- Maintain the high level of service and professionalism expected within the UNITY environment

WHO YOU AREYou are an accomplished pickleball player and coach who knows how to teach, lead,



and engage a group.

Required:

- Pickleball Level 1 coaching certification
- Proven experience coaching or leading group pickleball clinics
- Strong technical knowledge and playing experience
- Excellent communication and group leadership skills
- Professional, reliable, and organized approach

Preferred:

- Currently competing as a professional or high-level competitive pickleball player
- Active participation in sanctioned tournaments and competitive play
- Experience coaching players across multiple skill levels
- Additional pickleball coaching certifications or professional designations

Compensation: $60/hour

- Pickleball Level 1 coaching certification
