Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care
- Cook pizzas using commercial ovens, ensuring they are baked evenly and served hot
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in every dish
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food handling and storage
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, grating cheese, and assembling ingredients
- Adhere strictly to food safety standards and sanitation procedures at all times
- Support the food service team by efficiently serving orders and managing multiple tasks during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices essential
- Familiarity with serving customers in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Hands-on experience with meal preparation, especially in pizza or similar cuisine, highly desirable
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
