- Identifies gaps, issues and best practices through monitoring of sales and service performance targets against plans.
- Contribute to the team’s business objectives by building and maintaining client relationships through client acquisition both from internal referrals (within existing book of business) and external sources (through marketing initiatives).
- Expands the business growth potential of the team through telemarketing and outbound calls.
- Coordinates marketing activities and sales material to support client / prospect conversations.

Qualifications:
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Relevant investment industry licensing for the designated jurisdiction / portfolio.

Must be able to assist customers fluently in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Flexible to work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Understands customer needs and provides credit and lending-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects. Advises customers on borrowing strategies and products that meet their objectives. Fulfills sales and service activities for the customer in accordance with approved procedures. Identifies and makes referrals to other business groups. Works through various channels based on the market needs to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.
- May provide training and coaching to junior associates as needed.
- Probes to understand customer needs and provides advice related to personal banking and borrowing strategies in the best interests of the customer.
- Manages all transactional outcomes of customer contacts or defers to appropriate internal business groups.

- Makes credit decisions / recommendations in accordance with sound credit-granting principles and in compliance with Bank Policy & Procedures.

Salary: $37,000.00 - $70,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
