We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Portuguese-speaking Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in Woodbridge, ON. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities
- Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition tailored to their needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a caring environment for seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic living or care environment
- Assist with mobility tasks including heavy lifting when necessary,



ensuring safety for both clients and caregivers
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor health status, report concerns, and update care plans regularly

Requirements

- Proven experience working as a PSW or caregiver in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings
- Fluency in Portuguese is essential; proficiency in English is highly desirable
- Strong background in patient care, dementia care, hospice care, and senior support services
- Knowledge of medication administration, nursing procedures, and safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving
- Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent credential is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience is highly valued
