The Role

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to design and deliver business intelligence solutions for our clients.

You'll work across the development lifecycle — from understanding business requirements and preparing data through to data modelling, report development, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

This is a hands-on consulting role. You'll need to be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translating business questions into practical reporting solutions.

What You'll Do

- Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Develop DAX measures and calculations to support meaningful business analysis.
- Work with SQL Server, T-SQL, and other data sources to prepare and retrieve data.
- Profile, clean, transform, and validate data used in reporting solutions.
- Design effective relational and dimensional data models.
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Work with clients and team members to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and business rules.
- Publish and manage Power BI solutions, including datasets, workspaces, security, and access.




- Develop paginated reports where operational or pixel-perfect reporting is required.
- Troubleshoot report, data, and performance issues.
- Continue developing your skills across Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and related Microsoft data technologies.

What You Bring

- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with Power BI.
- Strong Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service experience.
- Solid knowledge of DAX and data modelling, including dimensional modelling.
- Strong SQL and T-SQL skills.
- Experience working with SQL Server and relational data.
- Understanding of ETL / data transformation processes.
- Experience gathering requirements and working directly with stakeholders or clients.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Azure Synapse, Power BI Paginated Reports, or other modern Microsoft data services is an asset. Relevant Microsoft certifications are also considered an asset.
