We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared safely and efficiently while keeping the dining area clean and organized. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and providing excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients.
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures.
- Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, dining areas, and storage spaces to meet health regulations.
- Support the food service team by serving meals to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and proper sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards colleagues and customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required.
