We are hiring a Product Marketing Manager to shape how Haply talks about its products and the category we're building toward!
About Haply
Haply Robotics builds the world's most precise haptic devices, deployed in research labs, industrial integration projects, and production environments where "good" and "right" are measured in milliseconds and millinewtons. As robots and autonomous systems grow more capable, humans still need intuitive ways to teach, guide, and supervise physical tasks, and Haply builds the platform that lets people do that through touch and motion.
Since 2018, we've built precision haptic controllers that let people and machines feel and respond to the physical world with microscopic precision. We've raised over $20 million CAD from leading venture and strategic investors, and we're partnering across robotics and industrial automation to bring touch and control into physical AI, building toward a leading, privately-valued Canadian company with real venture-scale upside for those who join us early.
About the Role
As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll shape how Haply talks about its products and the category we're building toward. You'll drive positioning, messaging, go-to-market materials, and product launches, translating technical depth into clear, compelling language that technical buyers can act on. You'll also help push Haply's brand forward across voice, tone, and visual identity.
What You'll Do
- Shape how we talk about our products and the category we're building toward.
- Drive the structure of our go-to-market motion, positioning, messaging, and the materials that carry them into the world, in close coordination with BD, who owns the parts of GTM that touch deals and partnerships directly.
- Build sales materials that actually get used in a deal, not just filed away.
- Translate technical depth into language a buyer can act on, without flattening what makes the work hard.
- Keep a pulse on the market and where competitors are moving.
- Push back on shipping positioning that's safe but forgettable; cut scope before cutting sharpness.
- Actively push the brand forward in what you ship: voice, tone, visual identity, not just protect it, and bring that point of view into how the brand shows up company-wide.
- Own positioning, messaging, and launch materials across product lines.
- Own the accuracy and credibility of how Haply is described publicly; nothing goes out that oversells or misleads a technical buyer.
- Share ownership of brand direction, voice, tone, and visual identity alongside product and BD leadership.
- In the first 60 days, establish a baseline for how sales materials get used in deals (or launch reach, whichever proves easier to instrument) and document the method.
- Own margin as a pricing outcome: by month 6, propose and get sign-off on a pricing policy (tiers, discount guardrails, bundle logic) and hit a self-set margin improvement target against the current baseline, tracked deal by deal with sales.
Must Have
- 3+ years in product marketing, ideally for a technical or hardware-adjacent product.
- Solid writing,
comfortable moving between technical and commercial audiences.
- Experience shipping launches, from positioning through to supporting materials.
- Bilingual French/English, with writing that reads native in both languages.
- Experience writing for a technical audience.
- A distinctive portfolio with writing specific to the product and audience, rather than work that could describe any B2B tech company or competitor.
Nice to Have
- Comfort with design tools for decks and one-pagers.
- Experience marketing to robotics, industrial, research, or engineering audiences.
What We're Looking For
- Someone who can sit with an engineer for an hour and come out with a sentence a customer will actually read.
- Has delayed a launch or cut scope because the story wasn't sharp yet, not because the product wasn't ready.
- Comfortable owning a launch calendar end to end, and rewrites their own draft before anyone asks, because good enough isn't the same as right.
- Background at a technical B2B company selling to engineers or technical buyers.
Why Join Us
- Shape how the world understands Haply's products, and help define the category we're building toward.
- Own positioning, messaging, and launch materials across every product line, with real creative latitude.
- Work shoulder to shoulder with product, BD, and technical teams, turning deep technical work into messaging buyers actually act on.
- Have a direct hand in Haply's brand direction: voice, tone, and visual identity, not just protecting it, but pushing it forward.
- Help shape pricing strategy and the way products go to market, with real ownership over the outcome.
