About the role The Product Photographer shoots, edits, and processes high-quality images of collector coins, banknotes, and estate jewellery to support e-commerce sales, advertising, and social media channels. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role works within established brand guidelines, maintains the digital asset library, and collaborates with marketing and inventory teams in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Product & Content Photography:
- - Photograph products following brand and quality guidelines. Collaborate with the Marketing team to produce engaging web, print, and social media visuals, as well as assist with location shoots and video production as needed.
- Post-Production & File Management
- - Edit, colour-correct, and rename image files using pre-established naming conventions. Prepare and upload assets to various channels, deliver files to external stakeholders, and maintain the image Asset Library.
- Operations & Inventory Coordination
- - Liaise with the Inventory team to ensure product tracking and filing are accurate. Create and maintain a detailed shooting calendar.
- Studio & Equipment Maintenance
- - Perform basic maintenance on photography, lighting, and grip gear. Inventory studio props and expendables for resupply, while keeping studio spaces organized and safe.
What You Bring
- Degree or diploma from an accredited photography program
- Minimum 2 years of qualified photography experience, preferably in product photography.
Experience creating digital content for e-commerce platforms.
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects is preferred.
- Knowledge of print production processes and image requirements is an asset
- Must provide a link to a digital portfolio and complete a police background check upon hire.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to following established processes consistently.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Creative, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
Working Conditions
- Work Environment
- - On-site studio setting located in Richmond Hill, ON.
- Physical Aspects
- - Studio setup, basic upkeep, and handling of lighting/grip equipment and product inventory.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary - $55,000 – $75,000
