About the role

Coordinate, schedule, and optimize production to support efficient, on-time manufacturing and healthy inventory levels. Connect demand planning, procurement, and manufacturing to maintain workflow and minimize downtime.

What you’ll do

- Develop and maintain short- and long-term manufacturing and packaging schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory, capacity, cycle times, urgency, and material availability.
- Track weekly schedule adherence and capacity utilization.
- Execute material requirements planning (MRP), maintain planning parameters, and manage material call-offs.
- Manage raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods against inventory KPI targets, and monitor inventory accuracy and turnover.
- Work with Production, Quality Control, Procurement, plant Warehouse, and Logistics to maintain reliable material supply under company standards, procedures, and protocols.
- Communicate material availability throughout the product life cycle and demand variances to Procurement.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, assess priorities, and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
- Promptly report production or planning issues, and track changes within the frozen planning horizon and downtime caused by material shortages or scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain accurate production data, material usage records, and schedule changes.
- Review and report aggregate inventory levels, inventory exposure, backlog, and availability.
- Support improvements in production planning and workflow,



develop planning processes and best-practice models, and contribute to Lean goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of experience with production flow in a manufacturing environment.
- At least two years of experience using an ERP system to interpret or manage raw material inventory.
- Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, MRP techniques, and manufacturing control systems.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic purchasing knowledge.

Work environment This is an office-based role with regular production-floor visits in a quick-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing setting.

Work is primarily desk-based, involving extended periods of sitting and frequent computer use, with opportunities to change position. Regular walking and occasional standing are required during visits to production and warehouse areas.
