Pro-Pipe Service and Sales Ltd. is seeking a full-time, permanent Production Labourer / Metal Finishing Technician to join our metal finishing team.

Experience in metal plating, coating, surface finishing, or industrial shop work is considered an asset. Loader, forklift, or other material-handling equipment experience is also a strong asset.

This is a hands-on position within our metal finishing shop. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day production, material handling, equipment operation, coating and plating processes, general shop duties, and preparation of customer parts.

The role involves working with metal components through various cleaning, preparation, plating, coating, inspection, and finishing processes. We are looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable working in an industrial environment, and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily plating, coating, and metal finishing operations
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials and customer parts
- Operate loaders, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment where qualified
- Assist with the start-up, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of production equipment
- Prepare parts for coating and plating, including cleaning, masking, handling, and general surface preparation
- Rack, load, unload, and move parts through production processes
- Assist with product assembly, inspection, and quality checks
- Follow work orders, shop instructions, and production priorities
- Identify and report damaged parts, equipment concerns, or quality issues
- Assist with rework and general production requirements as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Perform general labour and shop duties as required




- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Support other areas of the shop when required

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing, oilfield services, metal finishing, fabrication, industrial labour, or a production environment is considered an asset
- Experience with metal plating, coating, surface finishing, or chemical processing is an asset but not required
- Loader, forklift, skid steer, or similar equipment experience is a strong asset
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and equipment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required
- Willingness to learn and be trained on company processes and equipment
