Make an impact in youth recreation as a Program Leader I with the District of Saanich. Work with kids aged 10 to 17 to foster healthy community connections. The District of Saanich is looking for motivated candidates for its Program Leader I roles, focusing on youth programming in various centres.

You’ll facilitate a range of activities while ensuring participant safety and engagement. Strong customer service and collaboration are key for successfully addressing diverse needs and preferences during recreation programs. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and oversee recreational activities for youth
- Maintain a protected and welcoming environment
- Communicate with families and participants effectively
- Lead program evaluation and implement improvements
- Guide volunteers and Program Assistants during sessions Requirements:
- Completed Grade 10 education
- At least three months' youth engagement experience
- Certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR-C
- Interpersonal skills that foster inclusivity
