KM Cabinetry Inc. specializes in the manufacturing, supply, and installation of custom cabinetry and millwork for mid-rise and high-rise residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from Request for Bid (RFQ) through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clients, internal teams, and our manufacturing team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within project requirements, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage multiple projects from Request for Bid (RFQ) through completion, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, meeting quality standards and budget.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and managing the submittal process.
- Support contract reviews by verifying project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Prepare project documentation and develop internal project schedules.
- Coordinate RFIs and technical clarifications with clients and internal teams.
- Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Coordinate production, shipping, and construction schedules with the manufacturing team, project teams and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain bid logs and track all tender activity.
- Lead and attend all project management meetings, document key decisions and action items, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Identify scope changes and manage them through the change control process.




- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client's Project Manager throughout project execution.
- Monitor project progress and maintain updated schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project status updates to company leadership, highlighting progress and key issues.
- Support the Finance team by providing accurate and timely project information for invoicing.
- Coordinate and manage project deficiencies, project closeout, and warranty work.
- Confirm project completion with the client and ensure all project closeout documentation is complete.

Requirements:

- Diploma in Architectural Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
- 1-2 years of construction project management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Knowledge of project management best practices, with a balanced approach to managing scope, cost, delivery, quality, and multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to quickly learn about the project being developed.
- Able to handle multiple tasks with different priorities.
- Ability to take on challenges and to work in a fast-paced, cross-discipline environment, both independently and as a team player.
- Project management certification is considered an asset.
