Current Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to support quality engineering, test automation, and non-functional testing across complex enterprise systems.
The QA Automation Engineer will focus on developing, maintaining, debugging, and optimizing automated test solutions, with coverage across both functional and non-functional testing. The successful candidate will work closely with Architecture, Development, Operations, Database, and other technical teams to improve test automation maturity, support defect identification and triage, and help ensure reliable delivery across enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and test frameworks for enterprise applications.
- Support functional and non-functional testing across complex enterprise systems.
- Create, debug, optimize, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as JMeter and/or Robot Framework.
- Develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks and testing components.
- Support increased automation coverage across test activities and application delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Developers, Operations, Database teams, and other technical stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Participate in defect investigation, triage, documentation, and resolution activities.
- Contribute to test planning, test execution, quality engineering practices,
and continuous improvement of automation processes.
- Use AI-assisted testing capabilities where applicable, including automated test generation and predictive defect detection.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions and communicate testing risks, issues, results, and recommendations clearly to technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on QA engineering experience within enterprise systems.
- Experience delivering both functional and non-functional testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of JMeter and/or Robot Framework, including script creation, debugging, and optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools or approaches, including predictive defect detection and automated test generation.
- Proven ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams, including Architecture, Development, Operations, and Database teams.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional facilitation, documentation, defect triage, and technical discussions.
- At least 3 years of experience maintaining 50% or greater automated test coverage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another STEM-related field.
