Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Control Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products throughout the production process. This position involves performing thorough inspections, collecting data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold our high-quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet all specifications and quality standards.
- Collect and document quality-related data, ensuring accurate records of inspections, tests, and product evaluations.
- Analyze inspection data and results to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in product quality.
- Support the creation and maintenance of documentation for quality audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure all production activities adhere to internal and external quality standards.
- Manage and investigate customer complaints related to product quality, performing root cause analysis and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement in product quality and production processes.

Qualifications

- A degree in food safety, food science, biology, chemistry, or a related field is required (a degree specifically in food safety is strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
- Familiarity with the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program, Quality Management Systems (QMS), HACCP, and GMPs is preferred.
- Experience in handling customer complaints or inquiries related to product quality .
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
