Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to oversee quality assurance activities, ensure compliance with customer and company standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines hands-on inspection responsibilities with team leadership to ensure product quality, process effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
- Establish and maintain quality standards for products, processes, and rework.
- Monitor non-conformances, support corrective actions, and prepare quality reports.
- Manage calibration programs and maintain quality records.
- Review customer quality requirements and prepare documentation packages, including inspection reports and certificates of conformance.
- Review material test reports and perform final inspections, including coating inspections.
Inspection & Measurement
- Perform dimensional, machining, and weld inspections.
- Operate FARO and laser tracking equipment and prepare inspection reports.
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T; requirements.
- Conduct source inspections at supplier facilities and in-house inspections on critical projects.
- Review vendor inspection documentation and resolve quality deviations.
- Complete Layered Process Audits (LPAs) and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Customer & Supplier Support
- Investigate customer complaints and quality concerns.
- Track and manage non-conformances within quality systems.
- Communicate directly with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Support Sales and Estimating teams with inspection and quality requirements.
Leadership
- Coordinate daily activities of the Quality team.
- Train, mentor, and support team members.
- Assist the Quality Manager with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
- Experience with FARO measurement equipment and laser trackers.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T;, statistical process control, capability studies,
and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality/manufacturing software systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

- operating Faro equipment: 3 years (preferred)
