Join Toronto Community Housing as a Legal Counsel focused on Real Estate Law in a hybrid work setting. Provide proactive legal advice on revitalization projects and real estate matters. This existing role within the Legal Services Division seeks a dynamic Legal Counsel with 3-5 years of experience in real estate and municipal law.

You will collaborate with senior council and staff on diverse legal issues, ensuring alignment with TCHC's tenant-focused culture and business objectives. Your expertise will directly support our extensive portfolio of properties across Toronto. Key Responsibilities:

- Advise on residential and commercial real estate matters
- Draft and review contracts and legal documents




- Provide legal opinions and research on relevant issues
- Mentor staff and provide training on real estate compliance
- Manage heavy file loads and external legal counsel Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in Ontario
- Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor required
- 3-5 years of relevant legal experience preferred
- Solid organizational and conflict resolution skills
