We are looking for dedicated individuals who would like to work within a supportive child care environment at the following locations: Welland, Thorold, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Grimsby.

ABOUT US:

Strive Niagara is a licensed child care provider, providing quality care in Niagara for over 20 years. We provide child care for infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten, and school-aged children in Welland, Thorold, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, and Grimsby. This position is for supply staffing across all of our full Child Care Centre's and Before and After School Care programs.

The function of this position is to plan and implement activities that promote healthy, emotional, social, cognitive and physical development of each child while supporting the children and families within the programs. Work as a team member, supporting the Centre or program holistically.

We are hiring for supply positions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Early Childhood Education Diploma
- Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (in good standing)




- Current Standard First Aid/CPR certification Level C
- Current Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening addressed to Strive Niagara
- Up-to-date immunizations required
- Works as a team to establish and maintain a safe warm and caring workplace
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to plan and implement programs that are stimulating and developmentally appropriate for kindergarten and school age children
- Ability to follow the Ministry of Education’s pedagogical approach to “How does learning Happen”

- Shifts vary within Monday – Friday

Job Type: Casual Pay: $22.05-$26.71 per hour
