About the Prospect

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and results-driven Bilingual Multi-Unit General Manager to oversee the operations of multiple Subway locations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading restaurant managers and teams across multiple locations, maintaining high operational standards, improving sales and profitability, developing employees, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who has strong restaurant management experience and is ready to take responsibility for multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Location Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple Subway restaurant locations.
- Visit locations regularly and ensure consistent operational standards.
- Monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure all locations follow company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
- Work closely with individual Restaurant Managers and provide leadership, coaching, and support.
- Ensure restaurants are properly staffed and operating efficiently.

Leadership & Team Management

- Recruit, train, develop, and retain restaurant managers and team members.
- Coach managers to improve leadership, customer service, sales, and operational performance.
- Establish clear expectations and hold management teams accountable.
- Build a positive, professional,



and performance-driven work environment.
- Assist managers with employee relations, scheduling, performance management, and staff development.

Sales & Profitability

- Monitor sales, labour costs, food costs, waste, and other key performance indicators.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability.
- Review restaurant performance regularly and create action plans where improvements are required.
- Control operating expenses while maintaining food quality and customer service.
- Analyze store results and communicate performance to ownership.

Food Safety & Quality

- Ensure all locations maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Quebec food safety regulations and Subway operating standards.
- Conduct regular restaurant inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, temperature control, and sanitation procedures.

Customer Experience

- Maintain excellent customer service standards across all locations.
- Address operational issues and customer concerns professionally.
- Ensure restaurants provide a clean, welcoming, and consistent customer experience.

Qualifications





- Fluent in both French and English – required.
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a multi-unit environment.
- Previous experience as a General Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, or similar leadership position is an asset.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, labour management, food costs, inventory, and profitability.
- Proven ability to manage and develop multiple restaurant management teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable travelling between multiple restaurant locations.
- Knowledge of Quebec employment and food safety requirements is an asset.
- Subway experience is an asset but not required.
