We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Clinical Counsellor with a special focus in women's health to join our multi disciplinary clinic in the Hydrostone Market of Halifax. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate mental health support, conduct thorough assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based counseling and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs, with a focus on pediatrics and special education requirements
- Manage case loads efficiently by developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment outcomes, and relevant medical terminology in compliance with privacy standards
- Support families and caregivers through education and guidance on mental health strategies and resources
- Participate in ongoing research initiatives to enhance clinical practices and improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Clinical Counsellor with relevant licensing bodies or regulatory authorities
- Skilled in case management, data collection, and documentation within clinical settings
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage patients, families, and healthcare teams
