Hours: 8-hour shifts, 5 on / 5 off rotational, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents. Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, families, and physicians, you will support residents' health, safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and clinical care.
· Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
· Administer medications and treatments in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
· Monitor resident health status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
· Collaborate with physicians, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
· Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses, Continuing Care Assistants, and other care staff.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
· Promote a safe, respectful,
and positive environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
· Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention and control, and resident safety initiatives.
Qualifications
· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
· Current registration and good standing with the Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator (formerly the Nova Scotia College of Nursing).
· Current CPR certification.
· Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Commitment to resident-centered care and quality improvement.
· Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.
