About the Role

We're looking for a compassionate, qualified, and patient-focused Licensed Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team!

The primary role of this position is to provide high-quality physiotherapy care, including patient assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and education. You'll work closely with patients to understand their concerns, develop individualized treatment plans, and help them achieve their recovery and functional goals.

You'll primarily be responsible for assessing and treating patients, monitoring their progress, providing education and home exercise programs, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support patient recovery.

What You'll Do

Licensed Physiotherapist — Primary Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments to identify patients' conditions, functional limitations, and treatment needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and clinical needs.
- Provide appropriate physiotherapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, education, and other evidence-informed interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Establish treatment goals in collaboration with patients and support them in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
- Educate patients about their condition, treatment options, exercise programs, injury prevention,



and strategies for ongoing recovery.
- Develop and demonstrate appropriate home exercise programs.
- Provide clear instructions and guidance to help patients safely complete their exercises and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
- Use appropriate medical and physiotherapy terminology when documenting assessments, treatments, progress notes, and patient interactions.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
- Collaborate with the clinical and administrative team to help coordinate patient care and clinic flow.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care throughout the treatment process.
- Help patients feel comfortable, supported, and confident during their rehabilitation.
- Follow appropriate health, safety, privacy, and infection-control standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and skilled treatment environment.
- Stay current with evidence-informed physiotherapy practices, clinical guidelines, and professional standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continue to develop clinical knowledge and skills.
- Support the clinic and clinical team with other appropriate physiotherapy-related responsibilities as needed.
- Help create a positive and supportive experience for every patient.

What We're Looking For

- Current registration and good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory college.
- Previous experience as a licensed physiotherapist is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapy assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and patient education.
- Familiarity with evidence-informed treatment approaches and clinical practices.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics,



and common musculoskeletal conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine ability to connect with and support patients.
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a patient caseload, prioritize tasks, and remain organized during busy periods.
- Someone who is adaptable and comfortable working with patients with different conditions, needs, and levels of function.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinic management software is an asset.
- A positive, dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and professional standards.
- Strong interest in continuing education and professional development.
