Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Retail Assistant Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage sales teams, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Duties

- Supervise and coordinate daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
- Lead, motivate, and develop retail sales teams through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage inventory control by overseeing stock levels, conducting regular stock audits, and implementing efficient merchandising strategies.
- Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct interviews for potential employees, participate in recruiting efforts, and facilitate onboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, perform bookkeeping tasks, and ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.

Skills





- Proven experience in retail management with a strong background in sales team supervision and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage managerial conversations confidently.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations.
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives to drive store performance.
- Demonstrated leadership in training & development programs along with experience in shift management and operational planning.
