Position Details

Position: Residential Cleaner

Employment Type: Part-time to start

Pay: $17.95–$20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Travel/Gas Compensation: Details discussed during the interview

Growth Opportunity: Potential for increased hours and transition to full-time as our client base continues to grow

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality residential cleaning services in clients' homes
- Thoroughly clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other areas of the home
- Dust and clean surfaces, furniture, fixtures, doors, trim, and other accessible areas
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, stairs, and floors
- Sweep and mop flooring
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens
- Pay close attention to corners, edges, baseboards, fixtures, and other commonly overlooked areas
- Follow client-specific cleaning instructions and service expectations
- Maintain a consistent standard of quality from home to home
- Travel between client homes throughout the workday
- Safely and responsibly use cleaning products, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work workplace
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and team members
- Protect client privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times

Required Qualifications

- Valid G or G2 driver's licence
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for travelling between client homes
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks to a high standard
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of residential cleaning

Physical Requirements Residential cleaning is an active and physically demanding position. Applicants must be comfortable with:

- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, kneeling, reaching, and stretching
- Repetitive cleaning movements
- Carrying and transporting cleaning supplies and equipment
- Performing detailed cleaning tasks throughout a home

A criminal record check will be required prior to employment. Compensation & Growth

This position will begin on a part-time basis, with the opportunity for additional hours as our client base continues to grow.

The starting wage will be $17.95–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We believe in recognizing employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, professionalism, attention to detail, and a willingness to grow with the company.

As Platinum Cleaning continues to expand, there is potential for increased hours, full-time employment, and opportunities to take on additional responsibility within the team.
