We are looking for a Vietnamese Cook / Kitchen Staff member with knowledge and experience in Vietnamese food and cooking. We value someone who understands Vietnamese flavors, ingredients, preparation methods, and food culture and can help us maintain the authenticity and quality of our Vietnamese menu.

About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing Vietnamese dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operation. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where we serve both Vietnamese food and burgers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is experienced in Vietnamese cooking, takes pride in Vietnamese food culture, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Vietnamese dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards




- Apply knowledge of Vietnamese ingredients, flavours, sauces, seasonings, and cooking techniques
- Prepare dishes such as pho, vermicelli bowls, banh mi, Vietnamese rice dishes, spring rolls, and other Vietnamese specialties
- Prepare ingredients, including chopping, marinating, portioning, and mise en place
- Maintain consistency, quality, taste, and presentation of food
- Assist with preparation of burgers, sides, and other menu items as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Communicate and cooperate with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
- Help with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies
- Follow restaurant recipes and portion-control standards

Pay: $18.25 per hour
