Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to lead our retail team and drive exceptional customer service. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage sales teams, and ensure the smooth functioning of all retail activities. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize inventory management, and enhance overall store performance.

Duties

- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
- Lead, train, and develop retail staff through effective employee orientation, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock audits, and coordinating purchasing activities
- Oversee merchandising strategies to ensure attractive product displays that maximize sales opportunities
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction
- Coordinate shift schedules, assign tasks, and supervise team members to maintain operational efficiency
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to boost store traffic and sales performance

Experience

- Proven management experience in a retail environment with supervisory responsibilities




- Strong background in retail sales management, including sales techniques and customer service excellence
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS systems, and basic bookkeeping practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through training & development programs
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and operational management
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with grocery or wireless sales environments is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams
