Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining workflow.
- Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean and free of debris by regularly sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Handle food handling procedures with care, adhering to safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
- Support food service operations by clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with guest needs when appropriate.
- Maintain proper storage of clean items and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly; report any maintenance issues promptly.




- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to create a safe environment for staff and guests alike.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or containers.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
