We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our vibrant retail team. Responsibilities

- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing prospective employees and facilitating onboarding processes.
- Supervise and motivate retail sales staff to meet and exceed sales targets through effective training and development.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize product presentation.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high standards of store cleanliness and organization.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; handle cashiering duties as needed.
- Collaborate with management on operational tasks such as budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory audits to ensure smooth store functioning.

Skills





- Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to manage teams effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory control software, and basic math for sales calculations and budgeting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiation, customer service excellence, and employee orientation.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising strategies, and operational management practices.
- Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping, stock purchasing, and inventory management tools.
