Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead our store operations and sales team. This role involves overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, driving sales performance, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess solid leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and a passion for delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Lead and supervise the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to optimize product presentation and store layout.
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock levels to maximize profitability.
- Oversee daily store operations including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and payroll processing.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement.




- Monitor sales performance metrics regularly; analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and maintain a welcoming environment for both staff and customers.

Skills

- Proven experience in retail management with strong supervisory skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and phone etiquette abilities.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, and basic bookkeeping or administrative tools.
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote products and increase store visibility.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and sales management.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
