Your Role
As a Robotics Assembler at Mecademic, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing process. Through your precision and meticulousness, you will ensure that our precision robots are rigorously assembled and ready to be shipped to our clients.
Your Main Responsibilities
High-Precision Assembly (90%):
- Strictly read and follow assembly plans and diagrams (2D/3D).
- Assemble the various mechanical components (arms, joints, structures), ensuring proper fit and adjustment of parts.
- Perform wiring of circuits and sensors according to connection diagrams.
- Use appropriate assembly tools to ensure correct tightening and fastening.
- Conduct quality control tests and functional verifications on the assembled products.
Other Responsibilities (10%):
- Prepare finished products for shipping.
- Receive and visually inspect outsourced parts.
- Perform certain electronic circuit board assembly tasks.
- Assist in the realization of prototypes and test benches for product testing.
Your Profile With a college diploma (DEC)
in Mechanics or equivalent, you have proven experience in assembling high-precision products, ideally in the robotics industry.
Your Technical Skills:
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for precision assembly.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical plans and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Basic knowledge of wiring.
- Comfortable using computer equipment.
- Ability to quickly identify non-conformities, anomalies, or defects during assembly.
- High level of concentration.
- Ability to work in a team.
Job Conditions Full time position (40h/week) to be filled as soon as possible at our site located at 1300, rue St-Patrick, Montreal, QC.
Compensation based on profile and experience.
Must be authorized to work in Canada (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit).
