County 44 Waste and Recycling is looking for reliable, hardworking, and professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our growing team. We operate throughout Calgary and surrounding areas, providing dependable waste and recycling services to our customers.
Position Details
- Position: Class 1 & Class 3 Driver
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Location: Calgary and surrounding areas
- Employment: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
- Complete daily waste and recycling collection routes efficiently and professionally.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Assist with the day-to-day maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles.
- Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or vehicle defects promptly.
- Follow all applicable traffic, workplace safety, and company policies.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and members of the public.
- Maintain accurate route and service records as required.
- Work independently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and productivity.
Requirements
- Valid and clean Class 1 or Class 3 Alberta driver's licence.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating commercial trucks.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous experience in waste, recycling, hauling, or similar industries is an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace and road safety.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Professional demeanor and good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to assist with basic day-to-day vehicle maintenance and inspections.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
