Sales and Design Consultant — Custom Home Interiors

An excellent consultation starts with understanding how someone lives. What frustrates them about their kitchen? What would make their home more functional? What matters enough for them to invest in changing it?

At Dream Spaces, you’ll turn those conversations into personalized kitchens, closets and cabinetry—and guide clients confidently from an initial idea to a purchasing decision.

We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced professional who combines strong client relationships with measurable sales results. Your background may be in design, home improvement, automotive, furniture, luxury retail or another consultative sales environment.

Your role

You’ll lead pre-booked appointments in customers’ homes throughout your assigned GTA territory. You’ll uncover priorities, take accurate measurements, develop designs using Mozaik and present recommendations that balance style, function and budget.

You’ll also negotiate confidently, secure sales and deposits, maintain your pipeline and coordinate with our internal teams through installation. When the project scope allows, you’ll develop the design and complete the sale during the same appointment.

- Product and Mozaik training, ongoing sales coaching, and in-office design and technical support.
- A Barrie-based team that designs, manufactures and installs its own products.

- Gas gift cards to assist with travel and T2200 documentation where applicable.

Compensation Expected total annual compensation is $50,000–$100,000, including a $36,000 annual base salary plus commission, performance bonuses and sales incentives.

Last year,



our senior designers earned approximately $75,000–$100,000, with our top designer exceeding $100,000. Individual earnings vary based on sales performance.

Your qualifications

- Five or more years of relevant sales, design or combined experience, including demonstrated success closing sales.
- Strong listening, presentation, organization and relationship-management skills.
- Confidence discussing budgets, explaining value and asking for the business.
- Care with measurements and project details, plus willingness to learn new software.
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel regularly throughout your territory.

Previous cabinetry experience is welcome but not required. Your start at Dream Spaces

Five days of paid training at our Barrie office, September 28–October 2, 2026. Lunch is provided on Monday.

This full time role involves appointments in customers’ homes throughout your assigned GTA territory. Regular travel and weekend availability are required. Specific working days and appointment expectations will be discussed during the interview.
