Position Summary

Security Guard Group Limited is currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Security Guards to join our team in Brantford, ON. The successful candidates will be responsible for patrolling residential luxury building, responding to tenant concerns and incidents, and ensuring the safety and security of people and property. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct exterior foot patrols of a residential apartment building.
- Perform site inspections, perimeter checks, and alarm responses as required.
- Ensure all sites are secure and report any irregularities or security concerns.
- Complete detailed and accurate shift reports, including site conditions and incident documentation.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and safety hazards.
- Provide customer service and assist clients, employees, or visitors as needed.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, visibility, and accountability while on duty.
- Use communication devices and mobile applications for dispatch and reporting purposes.
- Follow all company, client, and site-specific policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification from a WSIB-approved provider.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient with smartphones and digital reporting tools.




- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
- Comfortable working overnight shifts from 10:00 PM until 06:00 AM
