The Opportunity

Wolf is looking to fill the position of Senior Commercial Specialist. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Development, the Senior Commercial Specialist grows and optimizes the value of Wolf Pipeline’s midstream assets and customer portfolio. The role originates and advances opportunities, manages strategic customer relationships, develops commercial structures, and leads negotiations from concept through execution. Working across operations, engineering, finance, legal, regulatory, and other teams, this position translates customer needs and market fundamentals into practical, risk-adjusted solutions. This position will require travel to various locations 10% - 25% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain senior relationships with producers, shippers, marketers, downstream counterparties,



and partners; use customer insight and market intelligence to originate value-accretive opportunities
- Identify and advance opportunities that improve throughput, utilization, margin, and long-term asset value, including new connections, expansions, recontracting, asset optimization, and new service offerings
- Develop commercial strategies, value propositions, pricing, proposals, and term sheets; lead or support negotiations for agreements relevant to the assigned portfolio
- Maintain a detailed understanding of asset economics, capacity, constraints, contractual position, basin fundamentals, competitive alternatives, and profitability to guide customer and portfolio strategy
- Develop and challenge economic evaluations, netbacks, forecasts, sensitivities, and risk assessments; present clear recommendations and decision materials to senior leadership
- Lead commercial workstreams from concept and customer engagement through internal stage gates, capital approval, project execution, and operational handoff
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, finance, legal, regulatory, scheduling, and accounting to ensure commercial commitments are well-defined, documented, operationally achievable, and protected through execution
- Manage contract performance, renewals, amendments, commercial obligations, and customer issues; monitor volumes, revenue, margin, capacity utilization, and commitments, taking action to prevent value leakage
- Support budgets, long-range plans, forecasts,



and commercial reporting; maintain accurate records and represent Wolf Midstream with sound judgment, integrity, and a strong commitment to safe, compliant, operations

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant professional designation is an asset

Experience:

- 8+ years of progressive experience in midstream commercial, business development, marketing, asset management, commercial operations, or a related energy role
- Demonstrated success structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements and advancing opportunities from origination through approval, execution, and implementation
- Strong knowledge of Western Canadian energy markets, midstream economics, and the applicable natural gas, crude oil, condensate, or NGL value chains

Skills:

- Advanced commercial and analytical capability, including financial modelling, netbacks, sensitivities, risk assessment, contract interpretation, and analysis of operating data
- Strong customer orientation, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills, with the judgment to align diverse stakeholders and present clear recommendations to senior leaders
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; able to manage competing priorities independently and travel to customer, project, and operating locations as required
