Position: Spring Boot Senior Technical Lead

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days in office

Required Skills:

- Robust Java/JavaScript programming skills
- Experience with Python, Spring Boot, and REST API development
- Understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Familiarity with networking protocols including HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, and TLS
- Experience with relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Spring Boot, database design, and software design skills
- AWS cloud experience

Detailed Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Lead the development and support of RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance and security.
- Develop and maintain Python-based components and scripts to enhance platform capabilities.




- Apply object-oriented design and software engineering principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Operate effectively in Linux/Unix environments, ensuring robust system integration and deployment.
- Utilize and implement secure networking protocols, including HTTPS, SSH/SFTP, and TLS.
- Design, implement, and manage relational database solutions using Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Mentor junior developers, promote best practices, and contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions.
- Ensure deliverables are compliant with organizational standards and security protocols.
