Join National Bank’s Data Governance Framework and Strategy team as a Senior Legal Counsel. Contribute to the development and alignment of data governance strategies with regulatory standards. In this vital role, you will create and maintain data governance policies while ensuring compliance with risk management and privacy principles.

You will monitor evolving regulations and support internal teams in understanding their obligations. Collaboration is key as you engage in governance committees alongside legal and compliance partners. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop data governance strategies, policies, and standards
- Ensure frameworks align with privacy and risk management practices
- Monitor regulations, translating requirements into actionable guidance
- Advise internal teams on data management compliance
- Participate in governance committees with multidisciplinary teams Requirements:
- University degree in law or a related field
- Significant experience in governance or compliance
- Deep understanding of data governance frameworks
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements
- Fluency in French and English for collaboration Use your legal expertise to influence data governance and risk management at National Bank.
