Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Reliability, 10+ years) to support CRO Model Modernization initiatives using SAS-based models, mainframe environments, C++, and Rust

This role supports complex technology projects involving code migration, modernization, optimization activities, and multi-team delivery across SAS-based models, mainframe environments, and related technologies.

The Senior Project

Manager will oversee project delivery activities including budgeting, scheduling, stakeholder engagement, procurement activities, risk management, and quality assurance. The engagement supports collaboration across technology, risk management, communications, business stakeholders, SMEs, and third-party vendors.

Contract, Ottawa, Hybrid (if residing within 125km of client office), Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

- 10+ years as a Senior Project Manager leading complex technology projects

- Valid Government of Canada Reliability security clearance

- Project delivery experience within Government, Financial Services, Crown Corporations, or other regulated industries

- Project management oversight across SAS-based models, mainframe environments, C++, Rust, and related systems

- Relevant education and professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum Master

Nice to Have

- Bilingual English and French communication proficiency





- Experience working with third-party technology vendors

- Experience supporting accessibility requirements and Accessible Canada Act objectives

- Experience preparing executive briefings, presentations, and status reports

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain integrated project documentation, schedules, and budgets

- Implement project documentation governance aligned with client requirements

- Track project progress against goals, budgets, timelines, and objectives

- Develop and assess change requests impacting scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk

- Identify project risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans

- Provide integrated change management support throughout project delivery

- Support contract management oversight including deliverables, milestones, deadlines, and contractual obligations
