Enhance sustainable construction efforts with PACT in Mississauga, Ontario. This role is key in monitoring compliance and driving sustainability initiatives throughout projects.
The Sustainability Coordinator will oversee the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives in line with GTAA's targets. Working closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, you will ensure effective integration of sustainable practices from procurement to reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Sustainability Management Plan (SMP)
- Monitor compliance with sustainability requirements (e.g., LEED)
- Track and report on sustainability metrics, including energy use
- Support sustainable procurement of low-carbon materials
- Train teams on sustainable practices and initiatives
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Familiarity with green building systems is beneficial
- Robust documentation and reporting abilities
- Excellent collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
