We are a family in Mississauga looking for dedicated and reliable childcare for our 8-year-old twin girls. Both of our daughters are on the autism spectrum and are non-verbal.
We are open to hiring one full-time sitter for 2-3 days or two part-time sitters to split the week.
Engagement: Leading the girls in sensory-friendly play and educational activities.
Communication: Using non-verbal cues and strategies to support and understand their needs.
Daily Routine: Assisting with meal/snack prep and following their established routines.
Environment: Maintaining a secure, structured, and nurturing space for both girls.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Proven background in childcare, daycare, or educational settings.
Specialized Care:
experience or comfort level working with non-verbal children on the autism spectrum.
Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage twins.
Assets: Familiarity with Educational Tracking Systems (ETS) or specialized school support tools is a major plus.
Personal Traits: Punctual, responsible, and a genuine passion for inclusive care.
