This position is for our lunch shifts, Monday to Friday. The minimum amount of shifts per week is three, with the possibility of five based on your experience. Must have experience serving, and be able to work independently and well under pressure

Duties

- Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and answer questions about menu items and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like processing payments and giving change.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards.




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations.

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Lightspeed POS or similar technology for order entry and cashiering.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting.
- Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly attitude and attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
