The Opportunity

We are looking for a friendly and dependable Server to join our team. In this role, you’ll help make mealtimes a positive part of each resident’s day by providing thoughtful service in a comfortable and welcoming dining environment.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys connecting with others, takes pride in providing excellent service, and appreciates the opportunity to work with seniors. You’ll work closely with residents and fellow team members to help ensure every meal is served with care.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome residents and guests and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Prepare the dining area for meal service and ensure tables and service areas are ready for residents.
- Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.
- Remove dishes, clean tables, and prepare dining spaces for the next service.
- Help maintain a clean, organized,



and comfortable dining environment.
- Follow established procedures related to food handling, cleanliness, infection prevention, and workplace health and safety.
- Communicate and coordinate with kitchen and dining team members to support smooth meal service.
- Get to know our residents and contribute to a positive dining experience through kindness, patience, and respectful service.

What You Bring

- Previous experience working in food service is considered an asset.
- Experience serving seniors or working in retirement living, healthcare, restaurants, or hospitality is an advantage.
- A caring and respectful approach when interacting with seniors.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Reliability and a willingness to learn and contribute wherever needed.
- Knowledge of HACCP, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety requirements, food sanitation, or related practices is considered an asset.
