Job Summary The Automotive Service Advisor plays a crucial role in the customer service experience at our Mechanical facility. This position involves interacting with customers to understand their automotive needs, providing recommendations for service and repairs, and ensuring a smooth workflow between the service department and customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.

Assess customer needs by asking relevant questions regarding vehicle performance and issues.

Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, including costs and timelines.

Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.

Schedule appointments for service work and follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and payments.

Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing.

Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services and repairs.

Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

Skills

Proven sales experience,



preferably in an automotive or dealership setting.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes is essential.

Experience in automotive repair is a plus, enabling effective communication with technicians.

Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust.

Proficient cash handling skills to manage transactions accurately.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly.
