ABOUT BEVO FARMS LTD.

Bevo Farms Ltd is the largest supplier of propagated plants in North America, providing greenhouses, field farms, nurseries, and wholesalers across the continent with healthy, vigorous, pest-and-disease-free plants. Bevo operates four facilities in the lower mainland of British Columbia and two facilities in the province of Alberta.

SUMMARY

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator that supports the effective movement, receipt and control of plants, materials and supplies. The position coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, prepares shipping documentation, arranges transportation, verifies received quantities and maintains accurate transactions in the ERP system. This position will be reporting to the shipping manager.

The coordinator is also responsible for day-to-day inventory control, including monitoring stock, reconciling physical inventory with system records, supporting monthly counts and coordinating transfer orders between Bevo locations (Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Langley, Aldergrove, and Pitt meadows). The role works closely with operations, procurement and other internal teams to help prevent shortages, resolve discrepancies and meet daily shipping requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Shipping and Freight Coordination

- Plan, prepare and prioritize outgoing orders according to customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Operations to meet daily shipping objectives and communicate changes, delays or shipment priorities.
- Verify customer sales orders and shipment documentation.
- Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, skid labels, customs documentation and other required shipping records.
- Obtain freight quotes and authorization, arrange domestic and international transportation and returns, and seek the best overall value for the company.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer shipment information in the ERP system.

Receiving

- Receive incoming plants, raw materials,



equipment and supplies and verify quantities and documentation for accuracy.
- Inspect received shipments for visible damage, shortages, overages or incorrect items and promptly report discrepancies.
- Record receipts accurately and promptly in the ERP system for inventory purposes.
- Work with procurement, suppliers, carriers and internal departments to resolve receiving or delivery discrepancies.
- Maintain organized receiving records and supporting documentation.

Inventory Control

- Track incoming and outgoing plants, raw materials, supplies, equipment and stock movements.
- Monitor inventory levels and help identify potential or unexpected shortages that could affect operations or production.
- Digitally manage inventory and prepare accurate inventory reports as required.
- Coordinate monthly physical counts of hardgoods and biological assets and reconcile differences between physical stock and ERP records.
- Verify incoming and transplanted plant quantities and investigate variances.
- Create, process and monitor transfer orders between Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Langley, Aldergrove and Pitt Meadows.
- Review incoming and outgoing orders to ensure inventory movements are recorded completely and accurately.
- Manage and track inventory supplies required for temporary foreign workers.

Additional Support

- Take active part in Health & Safety program.
- Help with creating SOPs for the department.
- Other administrative support as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, dispatch, freight, brokerage,



inventory control or a related operational environment.
- Experience using ERP or inventory management software.
- Experience preparing shipping documentation and entering shipping, receiving or inventory transactions.
- Forklift license is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

- Reliable transportation to the work location.
- Ability to work in office, warehouse, receiving and greenhouse environments and comply with all site requirements.
- Schedule flexibility may occasionally be required to support shipping deadlines, inventory counts or urgent operational needs.

POSITION DETAILS

- Pay – CAD $22-$25 per hour
- Permanent, Full-time, In office.
