Position Overview

We’re looking for a dependable and organized Shipping, Receiving & Order Picking Associate to join our refrigerated deli meat facility. This role is responsible for processing customer orders, managing inventory, handling documentation, and coordinating logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, food safety, and strong communication skills for customer and carrier interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verify quantities, and record deliveries.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Communicate directly with customers, carriers, and logistics partners to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock rotation and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with food safety,



HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment safely.
- Work in a cold/refrigerated warehouse environment.
- Support general warehouse and production duties as needed.

Qualifications
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (food industry preferred).
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety programs.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle purchase orders, invoices, and shipping paperwork accurately.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and logistics providers.
- Proficient with computers (Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, or shipping software an asset).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a refrigerated environment.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
